We are looking for an experienced procurement professional to effectively support new product development and introduction. Liasing with Technical Services, Process Engineering, Manufacturing and Supply Chain, you will ensure timelines on NPD and NPI are achieved within cost, delivery and quality requirements.
A thorough understanding of materials is essential and project work will be an integral part of this position, developing systems and building relationships both internally and with external suppliers. A strong negotiator with creative skills you will work with highly skilled engineers to build cost effective solutions in a lean, low volume manufacturing environment. You will hold a tertiary engineering qualification and demonstrate relevant procurement experience, ideally with certification with a recognised professional body such as CIPS or APICS.
